Chick-fil-A may come to your city. The popular fast-food franchise, which has more than 2,600 locations in North America, is establishing additional locations.

The chicken franchise will develop its first ground-up, freestanding restaurant in New York City.

The 6,000-square-foot unit will be located at 1573 Flatbush Avenue near Brooklyn College in Midwood, Brooklyn.

The restaurant's completion date is undetermined, but development will begin after the three-story office structure is destroyed.

Chick-fil-A plans to open four additional sites in Michigan this autumn, including Southfield, Monroe, and Livonia.

The restaurants will be run by independent local entrepreneurs, and the corporation agreed to give $25,000 each store to Feeding America to fund Detroit food banks.

The Atlanta-based business will operate a restaurant in Georgia Tech's freshly remodelled Student Center.

The facility opened today for takeaway and mobile lunch orders Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Starting August 15, clients may place orders between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Chick-fil-A isn't only coming to Atlanta. Three James Center will be the fast-food chain's third Richmond site. The restaurant will replace the old Arby's, which closed in 2019.
