This simple recipe for chicken tenderloins marinated in fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, and oregano is a great way to spice up a weekday chicken dish.
1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper 1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried oregano zest of one lemon juice of 2 lemons
Directions
1. Place the chicken tenderloins, olive oil, salt, pepper, minced garlic, dried oregano, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a large bowl and mix well to combine.
2. Make sure the chicken is completely coated with the seasonings by moving it around with the tongs.
3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. When the pan is sufficiently hot, add the chicken tenderloins to the pan to brown.
4. Cook for four to six minutes on each side, or until an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit is reached.
