How To Do Ombre Nails Like A Pro

Base coat (clear nail polish)
White nail polish
Nude or flesh-toned nail polish
Liquid latex tape

What You Need

Nail polish remover
A small brush or a Q-tip
Disposable makeup sponge
Top coat

Begin with nails that have been manicured. After you have applied the base coat to protect your nails, allow them to dry completely.

Step 1: Basecoat It

Apply two coats of nail paint in a flesh-toned hue, then wait for it to dry.

Step 2: flesh-toned nail polish

Liquid latex tape your nails. It protects against filth and removes easily. Allow it to dry before proceeding.

Step 3: Liquid Latex Tape The Cuticles

Apply a substantial amount of white nail paint on the tip of the disposable sponge.

Step 4: White Nail Polish on Sponge

In order to get the desired gradient effect, apply a large amount of the nail polish in a flesh tone below the tip of the sponge.

Step 5: Apply Flesh-Toned Nail Polish to Sponge

Dab the nail paint onto your nails while holding the sponge so that the white nail polish is at the tip of the nail.

Step 6: Sponge The Nail

Apply extra nail paint to the sponge and stamp it on your nails to achieve the desired color intensity. Before continuing, let it dry.

Step 7: Steps 5–6 Again

You may remove the liquid latex tape by peeling it off with a brush or by using your fingers.

Step 8: Remove Liquid Latex Tape

Applying the top coat will make any texture on your nails level out and give your nails a lustrous appearance.

Step 9: Top Coat
