Popeyes Just Cut These Two Classic Menu Items

Popeyes may be best known for its chicken sandwiches, but the chain's devoted customer base also raves about the restaurant's traditional side dishes.

That's why what I'm about to say could come as a shock to you: The fast food restaurant is eliminating two sides from its menu.

Cajun rice and green beans, two staples on the Popeyes menu, will no longer be available.

The company announced the announcement on Twitter a few days ago, despite the two sides still being available on the chain's web menu.

Cajun rice, a staple of many lunch combinations, is likely to be missed more than the traditional green beans.

Followers of Popeyes on Twitter argued that it was the finest side option available at the restaurant.

Biscuits, cole slaw, Cajun fries, mashed potatoes, red beans and rice, and red beans and rice with gravy are the remaining side dishes offered at Popeyes.

We hope Popeyes will provide new and improved side dishes in place of the two items being removed from the menu.

Many fast food restaurants around the country have recently eliminated popular side dishes including Popeyes' Cajun Rice and Green Beans.
